The Summit on Measurement is presented by the Institute for Public Relations (IPR) Measurement Commission, where research practitioners and thought leaders from client organizations, public relations agencies, research firms and academia join efforts to develop and promote standards and best practices for research and measurement.

Intranet Global Forum set for October
The 2013 Intranet Global Forum will be held 24–25 October at Pfizer headquarters in New York City. This forum will give you the tools you need to design, deploy and govern intranets that are now influenced by social media, changing employee demands and varying budgets.
The registration fee for IABC members is US$1,400 for the forum and workshops (a savings of US$200 off the full price of US$1,600).
For the workshops only, IABC members pay US$895 (US$1,195 for non-members).
For the forum only, IABC members pay US$495 (US$595 for non-members).

The COMM PRIX Awards’ deadline for entry is coming up
The Global Alliance COMM PRIX Awards for 2013 celebrate the most outstanding national and international PR and communication management programs and case studies. IABC Gold Quill Award winners, as well as winners of chapter Bronze Quill Awards or related awards, are eligible to enter. The final deadline to enter is next Monday, 30 September 2013.
There are three divisions: (1) public relations and communication programs that have already earned a local, national or international award from a Global Alliance member association; (2) successful programs that are international in scope; and (3) academic case studies for use in education.
