Good morning, everyone! I hope you had a fantastic week and are hard-charging in December to close out your year! We're already a third of the way through the month, so if you're not wrapping up your Christmas and Hanukkah shopping, GET TO IT! My beautiful Bride and I are finding that as our girls get older, shopping gets harder!
Gone are the days when we could walk through the toy aisle of Target and take pictures of barbies, dolls and other toys they want, and send them to their grandparents and Santa to order. Now, they're much more selective. They don't really want anything since they spend their free time on sports and on their iPads. Aubrey wants another dog, and Sydney wants a new iPod (no phones for the girls, yet.) The only
other thing they want is virtual currency for their favorite game they play online. That's IT! The grandparents are stuck grasping at straws for presents and we, THE PARENTS, are wondering, will it be a one-Christmas-present-per-person day this year for the girls? So, maybe that makes Christmas and Hanukkah a little easier. Except for Hanukkah—how do we stretch out no presents to 7 nights? Hmmm...
Pretty crazy that kids today can be so focused on virtual currency as their main presents. Talk about genius game developers, right? That's a far cry from when I was a kid, hoping for a Nintendo and every game out there! Or a new computer/monitor/modem. I was a geeky kid, so it was books and technology for me!
On the work side of things, we had a
great time planning out 2020 and beyond for you. Next year, you'll see more from us on almost every front. I'm really excited for it, and I think you'll like what we have planned. I've got to keep it close to the vest for now though—I can't go spoiling the surprise!
OK, that's all for now! On to more lawsuit and settlement updates!
Thanks for reading! Make it a GREAT week!
Warm Regards,
