This new tourism event will provide local businesses with the opportunity to incorporate maple syrup into their product offerings and showcase creative uses for locally produced maple syrup.

Once again the Hills of Headwaters Tourism Association will be hosting Doors Open Headwaters, on behalf of their partners throughout the region. The event will be part of the provincial promotional program that includes: event listed in the Doors Open Ontario brochure and other materials (approximately 1.2 million pieces) distributed in community newspapers across the province; inclusion on the provincial Doors Open Ontario website; Doors Open site signage; and inclusion in the Doors Open Ontario media program.

Along with the provincial promotional activities, the Hills of Headwaters, on behalf of participating sites will create a separate Doors Open Headwaters section on their website that will include photos and site profiles for each participating site, as well as distributing a custom electronic newsletter to our 10,000+ database, and promote through social media channels.

There is no cost for you to participate in this event but you must register no later than Friday, February 14th.

Headwaters Horse Country is looking for signature artwork to represent Horse Country.

All two and three-dimensional art, regardless of category or media are eligible for this competition.

This is an equine art competition. The art submitted must be representative of Headwaters Horse Country. However, horses are not a required element in the design.
