In a recent interview for 1883 Magazine, actress Sepideh Moafi spoke about her blend of art and activism as a Teaching Artist for Girls Write Now. Moafi explained, "I wanted to show myself as an example of someone who came from that background (as a refugee) and is trying her best to contribute as an artist and as a humanitarian to give back."
