I knew this would be a new favorite of mine after reading the title. The combination of dreams, surreal poetic sequences, and an honest address to the reader is unlike anything I've ever read. Emma's intimate piece is everything I love about creative writing: a patchwork of verse and prose, reality and unreality, honesty and deception.

Moafi explained, "I wanted to show myself as an example of someone who came from that background (as a refugee) and is trying her best to contribute as an artist and as a humanitarian to give back."
