Bolton Farmers' Market 2014 Season Review

Note - the Bolton Farmers' Market (previously known as the Caledon Farmers' Market) has been in operation since 2009, but recording of vendor revenue commenced in 2010. Therefore, sales date back to 2010.

  • From Table 1 (left): 2014 sales increased by 217% compared to 2013 and was 69% better than the previous best total made in 2010.
  • From Table 2 (right): sales for all categories increased with the exception of "honey", due to the absence of a dedicated "honey" vendor since 2013. "Produce" saw the biggest increase - 624% from 2013 and 144% compared to its previous best year in 2012.
  • On average, there were 16 vendors in 2014 and between 350 - 400 people visited the Market every day (6,300 - 7,200 people for the season).

To sum up it was our most successful season ever. We couldn't have done it without you, thank you! Now, we look forward to a bigger and better 2015. Stay tuned!
