Good morning, everyone! Here we are, halfway to Halloween, and I'm still planning on going out that evening as a middle-aged, slightly overweight Dad, with Dad Jokes aplenty, and I'm OK with that. I might dig out a costume of yesteryear, or some kind of funny shirt, but being a grownup with kids and an amazing family is a full-time gig! Heck, I spent my Sunday morning in an airport, had lunch in San Diego with two client friends of mine and my VP Steve, and then went straight back to the airport to fly home so I could have dinner with my family and tuck my kids in. I would have rather watched football all day and gone for a bike ride with the Fam but "thems the breaks," as my Dad used to say. You do what you gotta do to support yourself and those you love. Make
no mistake, I LOVE my job. It's just busy, and that is AWESOME! I just choose to spend available time decompressing with my fam, rather than trying to find a costume for my giant frame. That's a niche business idea for you! Costumes for tall people! We're sick of being Lurch! Help us out, people! LOL!
If you're kicking butt supporting your family in the workplace, or you're a homemaker kicking butt taking care of your family at home, don't punish yourself if you don't get a costume for Halloween! Your family would rather have you happy than dressed up. You're doing an amazing job!
On the work side of things, we're super busy as always! We've got Mass Torts Made Perfect coming up! I'm a speaker on the Class Actions Made Perfect side of things, so make sure to hit me up via questions@topclassactions.com if you're going to be there. I'd love to get together for a drink or coffee!
Onto more lawsuit and settlement updates!
That's all for now! Make it a GREAT week!
Warm Regards,
