We had such a great day when we attended Enterprise Nation’s festival of female entrepreneurs. Hearing Emma Bridgwater speak about her journey from an idea for birthday present to a £30M turnover business, was so inspiring, and just showed that behind the business, there’s an ordinary person, facing challenges and juggling life and work. There were a number of other equally inspiring female business owners who shared their journey with us, giving us lots of ideas and an enjoyable day. The day ended as possibly every Friday should, with a nice shared bottle of prosecco before heading home happy :) Our next and last netwalking event of the year is on 7th December, we’d love you to join us. Our last event saw 18 business owners and their dogs enjoying the morning. Here’s the link if you’d like to book Eventbrite
Share the love... This month we're supporting small businesses and trying not to buy everything from Amazon! We've sourced some of our Christmas gifts for our clients and friends and family from small local business. It feels good to shop local!
5 questions with... This month we ask our MD Tracy Gilmour about her favourite things.
Sales Tip How often do you review the steps you take from meeting a prospect, through to quoting and on to conversions? Do you spend a lot of time quoting, and wonder why conversions seem difficult to achieve? Are you giving away your knowledge for free before you even get to close a sale? Your sales process is a fundamental tool, so if you're focusing on finding leads, don't forget this important part of the picture. Evaluate what you do during every stage and see where you can 1) save time 2) stop giving away your ideas, whilst still demonstrating your expertise and 3) increase sales.
