Click here Welcome to the latest edition of EECA's Efficient Product News Rightware tool takes offAbout 35,000 people have used the new Rightware tool which helps Kiwi shoppers avoid buying power hungry appliances. Rightware is the most popular page on the Energywise website. The tool gives consumers information about the running costs of appliances registered for sale in New Zealand, as well as letting people compare and filter products for criteria such as brand and size. For the initial launch of Rightware, popular consumer categories were included; heat pump air conditioners, televisions, fridge/freezers, clothes washers, clothes dryers, dishwashers and computer monitors. Other appliances, including some commercial products, will be added. We need manufactures and importers to ensure their products are up to date and correctly displayed on the tool so that consumers can make an informed choice about which product(s) best meets their needs. Please login, check the details of your products and add any missing or new products in the Rightware registration tool.
