The 2021 European Week of Sport has kicked-off! This official launch at Lake Bled, Slovenia, was a great moment of unity and sport gathering countries, organizations, and athletes from all over Europe. HASHTAGS
The #BeActive hashtag was a success on the opening day: in one single day, we counted 1.8K use of the hashtag reached 9.4 million people, and engaged 31k persons through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
All campaign hashtags, being #BeActive, #EuropeanWeekOfSport and #HealthyLifestyle4All, reached a total of 34 million people on Twitter.
LIVESTREAMS
The 2021 Opening Ceremony of the European Week of Sport was followed by 1.2 million people through Facebook and Twitter.
The launch of the #HealthyLifestyle4All initiative was watched by 145 000 people.
Our #BeActive Night Instagram live has been experienced by our particularly active 1.5k participants all over the world, with several special guests including our European Week of Sport Ambassador Jorge Pina, National Director of Special Olympics Slovakia Eva Gazova, #BeActive Ambassador for Latvia Anastasia Kravcenoka and #BeActive Ambassador for Azerbaijan Emin Jafarov. The Olympic Committee of Serbia also joined us live from their #BeActive Night event!
