May 2019 Metro Water District 2019 Audits due in MayMay is a busy time for many water providers, wastewater treatment utilities, and local governments because the Environmental Protection Division (EPD) audits counties and cities across the metro Atlanta region for compliance with the Water Resource Management Plan. Starting in 2019, cities and counties within the 15-county Metro Water District will get audited on a county-wide basis. EPD will choose 2-4 counties to audit every year, and all cities and utilities within the selected counties will get audited at the same time. Audit materials are due in early May.
