Student Leadership & Involvement will now be providing an online repository of the judicial status of its Registered Student Organizations’ in order to provide greater transparency regarding student organization operations across campus. This list will include any organizational violations to the University of Memphis Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities and can be found online at http://www.memphis.edu/studentinvolvement/studentengagement/judicial-status.php. SLI has also included a number of resources related to hazing prevention and reporting on its website at http://www.memphis.edu/studentinvolvement/hazing/index.php which includes a reporting form that students, alumni, parents and community members may use to report any violations of the university’s hazing policy.
 

Calling all artists! The Black History Month Committee is accepting submissions for calendar artwork for the 2018 Black History Month Calendar. The theme is Driven to Dream which honors the 50th Anniversary of the assination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Please send all calendar submissions to Realan Lewis here

Come join our Friendsgiving International Dinner hosted by Chi Alpha International Campus Ministries with help from Vietnamese Student Association, Asian American Association, and Hispanic Student Association. Bring a small dish that is either Thanksgiving style or a food that represents your culture along with you!

Join us for our new  Tiger Talent Ready Professional Development Series this fall! Students who complete all four workshops in the TIger Talent Professional Development Series, upload an approved resume and head shot to TigerLink, and send a professional thank-you note will be awarded the distinction as Tiger Talent Ready, Level ! with a certification from Career Services. Employers value the Tiger Talent Ready designation because they know participants have invested in the skills that contribute to their success, ultimatley setting them apart in today's demanding job market.

Fourteen UofM students from various departments will give entertaining, 15-minute presentations in the TEDtallks style on their recent research. NEDxStudents 2017 will be Wednesday, Nov. 8, and Thursday, Nov 9, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., in Ned McWhether Library room 225. Refreshments will be provided and the event is free and open to the public.

Tiger Talent Goes Green is a one-day experimental learning/job shadowing experience. You gain career insight and exposure to professional work enviornments without the long term commitment of an internship and you can earn a $100 stipend! 

Areas of interest include: Renewable Energy Production, Energy Efficiency, Enviornmental Management/Recycling, Natual Resource Conservation, Enviornmental Compliance, Education and Training, and Public Awareness.
