Dear Parents, Writing to you this morning with a quick update in regards to the Novel Coronavirus outbreak (2019-nCoV). We are following the advice of the
Singapore Ministry of Health, and urge you all to do the same. The key plot points are: - If you or your child are sick, stay away from school and seek medical attention if exhibiting symptoms - they currently include: fever, cough, shortness of breath,
difficulty breathing.
- Remain vigilant and maintain good personal hygiene - wash your hands frequently. Carry hand sanitiser for use when soap and water are not readily available. Avoid touching your face.
- If you have travelled to Mainland China within the last 2 weeks, please let us know. As per new MOE guidelines, students who have returned from Mainland China should stay home and monitor their temperature for 14 days from the date of arrival back in to Singapore.
- Follow all directions and advice given by the Ministry of Health
Actions we are taking: - If a student arrives to Centre Stage sick, we will send them home
- All staff have been asked to monitor any symptoms, and will be asked to stay away from school until they have been checked
- Centre Stage is undergoing a deep clean over the half term break, and will deploy hand sanitisers in every studio and reception.
- Staff will issue age-appropriate guidance on ensuring all children wash their hands effectively and don’t share food at snack time
- We will continue to send out updates as we know more. In the mean time, please follow the link below for some more official resources from MOH.
Thanks so much for your support,
- The Centre Stage Team
