Future of tourism - how do you see it?

As you will know, Destination Hauraki Coromandel is developing a Destination Management Plan to guide the future of all aspects of a destination that contribute to a visitor's experience.  To do this we have been consulting with our communities and businesses to understand their perspectives, needs and expectations.

Some of you may have participated in town workshops, and now it's time for operators to have input as tourism business owners.

We are running two industry focus groups on Zoom on Friday, July 29, 2022.

10 am Activity and transport businesses

12 pm Accommodation providers

The groups will be small to aid discussion, run for about 45 minutes and be facilitated by Versus Research. There will be other ways for you to provide input if the sessions are over-subscribed, or you are not available at these times.  We need broad and deep insight into how you see the role of our industry in shaping the future of tourism, and also the particular challenges we face.
