Scholarly Achievement Celebrated at Annual Capstone Festival 

In her opening remarks at last week’s Capstone Festival, Doenges Scholar Emily Welty captured the essence of the experience for presenters and audience members alike when she noted that Capstone students "remind the rest of the world [of] the value of passionate curiosity."  Twenty-eight passionately curious people presented the Mary Baldwin College community with new perspectives and helped attendees to think more deeply about their work and community. See who earned top honors >>

Track and Field to be Added as New Varsity Sport in 2017

The athletic department at Mary Baldwin College has announced the addition of outdoor track and field as an official varsity sport. The Fighting Squirrels will compete in spring 2017 under the guidance of head coach Heather Shutt Ely. Read more >>
