It was a big night at the NCIE for our last Friday Night Live for 2015. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate and, of course Black Santa, for making it a great one!

Students from the Tiwi Islands were treated to a surprise visit from Jess Mauboy during their stay at NCIE. The students from Melville Island's Tiwi College made the journey to Redfern, to participate in a week-long writing and mentoring workshop, organised by the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) and hosted by Hachette Australia.

There's no excuse not to get fit in 2016. Start the new year with no joining fee at NCIE Fitness, on all new memberships during the month of January.

The exceptional achievements of our Indigenous Paralympians were acknowledged by the unveiling of a plaque at NCIE Fitness this month, alongside plaques for our Indigenous Olympians. 

Congratulations to the final Job Ready graduates for 2015. In 2016 our Job Ready courses will run at the NCIE, located at 180 George St, Redfern. Pop by the NCIE to say hello to Aunty Beryl, Mat and Wendy and enrol now for our 2016 courses.  

Recently our Indigenous Digital Excellence (IDX) team headed to regional NSW to share robotics, online gaming and 3D printing experiences with the community.
