Are you planning to host a watch party?Although we can’t be together at one big in-person event this year, nothing can stop you from celebrating your hard work, and celebrating it at 250 places all over the world. How can you participate in the VGJ as a community, celebrate your iGEM journey together, meet iGEMers, share stories and excitement that you experienced during the past few months and during the Jamboree, simply have a chat, drink or sing? Why not organize a WATCH PARTY?! The parties can be run completely virtually, and if it is allowed in your area, you are welcome to hold small gatherings. Please make sure that you are following social distancing and other precautions to prevent the spread of infection, and make sure that you are not breaking any rules in your area. Tell us about your Watch Party by November 2, 11:59 AM EST!
Help broadcast the VGJ - Become a Jamboree Commentator!Every year, hundreds of fascinating projects are developed by iGEMers to face the pressing challenges of our time, and innovate for the future. Every attendee experiences a unique journey during the Jamboree, learning about some of those outstanding works. The Jamboree Commentators will aid the attendees in navigating through the extraordinary works presented in the Competition. They select and share
highlights of their journey, inviting the community to be dazzled with them. They are iGEM alumni applying their passion and expertise in Synthetic Biology and will be live on our main stage throughout the Competition Weekend, broadcasting 20-minute sessions in different languages. Are you interested in sharing your vision with your fellow iGEMers? Apply now: tell us what you want to share with the world, and we will provide a platform to spread your message around the globe. Apply by October 25, 11:59 AM EDT!
