This month ... As you may well have seen from Social media, on 1st July our team successfully took part in the Black Country 5K Fun Run in Halesowen. Julia, Tracy, Julia and Emilie ran the 5K, whilst Julia Field’s husband Steve ran the 10K - well done Steve and to everyone who took part in both runs. It was a great atmosphere on the day with that feeling of magic that happens when people come together for good causes. Thanks to all of our lovely friends, family and colleagues who sponsored us, we’ve now raised over £500 for the Animal Healing Trust! Well done you lot :) ….and there is still time to sponsor if you want to ;) Just Giving Don’t forget that September sees the first of our six monthly programme of Sales and Marketing workshops. For two hours you step out of your business to work on it, taking away tools and information so you can obtain real growth. Please reply if you’d like to book a place. The workshops are monthly, and will be from 10am - midday just by Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
Share the love... This month we're loving our planet earth ;) Buying recyclable coffee cups, using less plastic and recycling everything we can. Sir David Attenborough has renewed his attack on the “functionless” use of plastic, which he said posed a “major danger” to the ocean. He warned that the planet risked being “overwhelmed” by humanity using plastic with “total abandon”. As Mahatma Ghandi said 'Be the change you wish to see in the world'
Did you know? Google Reviews help improve search rankings and overall SEO efforts. While there are a lot of factors involved in search rankings, online customer reviews can be a strong signal to search engines that communicates trustworthiness and authority. We recently received this Google review from one of our very happy customers, to say we were Thrilled is an understatement! Julia & Tracey have over the past few months exceeded any expectations that I had with the campaign. Our business operates in a long sales process with high sales values and projects are usually tendered based on relationships, it was a difficult task they had set and within a short space of time have developed numerous opportunities for us along with getting our company name out there in the industry, my initial expectation knowing the sector was not to be so advanced in such a short period of time. Julia & Tracey have taken the time to understand an industry that they had little knowledge of and have developed a process that generates results and builds lasting relations. I am proud of the way they represent my company and they are an integral part of our growth strategy moving forward. Julia & Tracey are genuine, hardworking and honest, and I have no qualms in recommending them to any prospective clients. Sales Tip Agreeing and managing expectations - why does this matter in sales? If we said to you we’d make 3 sales in July for your business, how happy would you be? Probably quite happy. If those sales then turned out to be one off, low value, transactional sales, then you’d likely be feeling a little deflated. If you agree what the sales should look like, you both know where you’re aiming. When we set out to work with a customer or supplier, it’s really important that expectations are clear, agreed, and regularly reviewed. You can read the full article here
