Adept Precision

Plunkett's are Adept! It's time to introduce you to Adept Precision...

Adept Precision is a sister company set up by Plunkett Associates and is represented by them in the UK.

What does Adept Precision do?

Adept provides Prototype and Production Tooling along with an integrated moulding capability, currently from 4 machines.

In partnership with Plunkett Associates, the complete package is available to fulfill all client project requirements, with knowledge and experience of additional value added services such as design and post processing options readily on hand.

Low Volume Production Tooling

How is Low Volume Production (LVP) Tooling different from Development or Production Tooling?

Mould tool options which give flexibility for time versus cost......

When we talk about injection mould tooling, the big perceived barriers are usually cost, closely followed by lead time. If the part quantities are low then the amortised effect of the tooling is substantial. Thus to use injection moulding as a process, and to apply it to low volumes of parts, requires a different approach.

3D Printed Spectators at this year's Winter Olympic Games

3D Printed Spectators at this year’s Winter Olympic Games!

The Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 are well and truly underway!

But did you know some of the visitors you may be seeing on the television are actually 3D printed?!

Last year, the Korea Tourism Organisation launched a scheme inviting international participants to become involved in the Games by becoming ‘special cheering members.’

GrabCAD report, “anyone who wanted to participate was asked to upload a photo late last year, then some photos were randomly selected and made into 3D printed look-alike figurines”.

ISO 9001:2015

Our quality system is now ISO 9000 : 2015 certified!

In March 2016 we announced we had received our ISO 9001:2008 certification. Less than 2 years on, we are proud to say we have just received notification of our updated certification to ISO 9001:2015!

We are delighted to be recognised for our Quality Management System, and hope this highlights the on going commitment of Plunkett Associates to ensure that our customers continue to receive the highest quality parts and the very best in customer service.
