Update | Measures in place from 16 May to 13 June 2021
Dear Parents & Students, After the government announcements on both Friday 14th May and again more recently on Sunday 16th May, we are writing to confirm the following: Monday 17th & Tuesday 18th May this week we will remain
open for these two days and deliver our classes, on site, as always strictly following all MOH, MOE & NAC guidelines.** However, as of Wednesday
18th May we have taken the decision to move the majority of our classes online to Zoom. Zoom Classes:
We are very well versed in delivering zoom classes, as we did this very successfully
throughout Circuit breaker. We will keep the usual scheduled times for classes. - Please make sure that you have an up to date email address with us
- Please have a device available for your child
- Then await an email from your child’s teacher inviting you to the session, which will arrive before the class, giving you the password to enter the waiting room for that session. The Teacher will then individually let in the students one by one from that class
- As our classes are active and interactive, please make as much space as possible, for your child to be able to move around
We will align ourselves with the International schools where possible and please do keep an eye out for regular communications from us updating you of any changes. As always, we thank you for your patience, understanding and support, helping to keep our students, staff, and community as safe as possible, as we adapt to the ever changing situation.
**Please ensure you are adhering to the following:
- Do not come to Centre Stage if you are, or a household member is, unwell.* If you are showing any covid-19 symptoms, you should check with healthcare professionals [If in doubt, you can utilise the government's own covid check tool
here]
- *Please take the temperature of both your child and yourself before you arrive - a temperature of 37.5 or above is considered a fever.
- Masks must be worn at all times. Face shields can no longer be used. [This includes under 6s inside our studios]
- Anyone visiting our centres are now required to check-in and out using exclusively TraceTogether [this requires a phone with the TT app downloaded and bluetooth running, or a token from your local community
centre]
- If a student is on, or has household members on an HQO, SHN, AA or LOA, you are required to declare so with us and stay away from our centres.
- Students should arrive, and be collected from class in a timely manner to avoid transient contact with other groups [Parents/guardians may not wait on site for the duration of your child's lesson.] Please do not arrive for
class more than 15 minutes before, as there is nowhere to wait in the centre.
Measures in place at Centre Stage:
- Safe distancing measures of at least 1m are in place throughout all our studios
- Singing in class has been suspended until further notice
- There will be strictly no physical interaction between students [If some interaction is completely unavoidable, the students will be split into pairs with each group kept at least 2m apart.]
- Students must remain in their current classes - and can not switch mid-term.
- Students or staff who are on, or have household members on an HQO, SHN, AA, or LOA will not be permitted to visit our
centres.
- All high touch surfaces will be continue to be thoroughly disinfected between classes
- Arrival and dismissal timings between classes will continue to be staggered, to avoid any transient contact.
- Students
will continue to practice frequent hand-washing.
- Shared equipment continues to be avoided.
- Our waiting room and office remain closed and there should be absolutely no waiting on site.
- Face
masks must be worn at all times by all staff, students, and parents at drop off. [Inside our centers, masks will still need to be worn by students aged 2 to 6 – as we are operating in a group setting, and the students will be supervised closely whilst doing so.]
- Daily temperature and health screenings for students and staff will continue [If you have a temperature of 37.5 or above, and/or are exhibiting any symptoms of illness, you will be sent home]
- We have already deployed SafeEntry gateways at both our centres - which allows you to check that your TraceTogether token and/or app is working as it should.
Many thanks for your continued understanding and support,
Team Centre Stage
