Content (topic, characters, plot) should be mature and intriguing for ages 10+. Your challenge is to write an engaging short story that celebrates multicultural and multilingual storytelling.

Fellowship Established in 2019, this fellowship is a unique opportunity for aspiring editors to gain experience in editing and independent publishing. Fellows have the opportunity to oversee an open call and serve as the lead editor on a piece for the magazine. A Public Space will offer two editorial fellowships this year as a 6-month program (June-November), approximately 15 hours weekly. Applications accepted through February 28, 2026.
