Mother Ruth

We are sure that many of you will have already heard that Mtr Ruth was hit by a car whilst out running earlier this week.
The good news is that she didn't break any bones.  However she did land face first and has therefore had to have some reconstructive surgery to repair damaged teeth and lips, with the possibility of more surgery to come.

As you can imagine this has all been a great shock to Ruth, Dan, Grace and Jed and it is essential that Ruth rests and recovers fully before coming back to work.

We will do all that we can to ensure that life at CHS continues as normal and would ask you to contact the Churchwardens for any parish or pastoral matters and we will endeavour to do our best to respond to you.  Please do not email, text or phone Ruth with any enquiries for the time being.

As she said in her sermon last Sunday, Mtr Ruth rejoices in the love and support she receives from everyone at CHS and we would ask you to continue to remember her and her family in your thoughts and prayers this week.

We will update this announcement as and when we have more news for you.

Sarah & Ollie, Churchwardens
