Featured Girls Write Now Story

Text: It's what we've done before we're born and the first thing we do when we are

Sonder

Girls Write Now Reads Work in Honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Up 2 Us Invites Writers to Share Service-Inspired Work

The nonprofit Up 2 Us, which trains and supports youth sports coaches, has invited Girls Write Now Fellow Sally Familia and Editor-in-Residence Kathryn Destin to read their original work with the theme of service for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. As an organization that is committed to uplifting youth and inspiring service in others, Up 2 Us reached out to Girls Write Now with the aim of using the power of words as a catalyst for change in our communities.
