Information for teams
Regular registration ends in 10 days! Regular registration for the Giant Jamboree will end on August 31 at 11:59PM EDT. Whether you're a team member, team advisor, judge, or guest, the cost of registration will increase after August 31, don't miss out! The Judging Form is a critical form for every team in the competition. It informs your team's judges about the medal criteria you have fulfilled, as well as any special prize(s) you have nominated your team to compete for at the Giant Jamboree. Please make sure you fill out and save your form by October 16, 11:59PM EDT or you could miss out on awards! Who's got team spirit? Submit a team banner to display at the Jamboree. You can even take it home after! Submit a team banner! September Competition Deadlines All of the items below are due on September 13, 11:59 PM EDT. 1. Track Selection Freeze Track selection is important as it directly impacts the Giant Jamboree presentation schedule, as well as the awards that will be given out on Monday during the Giant Jamboree. You can make your track selection on your Team Profile Page. 2. Project Title and Abstract Due Your team project title and abstract is important for your team's Judging Form. You need to add your title and abstract to your Team Profile Page, which will be automatically copied over to your Judging Form. It's the first item about your project that your Judges will see upon viewing your Judging Form, so make sure to submit it on time! Your project title and abstract will also be included in the Guidebook App for the Giant Jamboree and will be posted online for everyone to view prior to the Giant Jamboree. 3. Final Team Rosters Due The team roster is used to print participation certificates, and determine section for collegiate teams. Be sure to review your team rosters and make sure they are up-to-date well before the deadline! 4. Final Safety Forms Due Your Safety Form must be completed and submitted by one of the team's PIs by September 13, 11:59PM EDT. Failure to fill out the Safety Form by the deadline is serious, and can lead to disqualification from the competition. Try to finalize the content of the form as early as possible, and don't wait until the last moment to ask your PI to sign it off!
