Global Leadership Program

Want to succeed in markets outside of North America but lack the knowledge, network, or resources?

Each year the Global Leadership Program (GLP) helps Canadian companies looking for a strategy to gain entry into a foreign market. A select group of Schulich MBA candidates under the supervision of the School’s experienced faculty are matched with another group of MBA students from one of our partner institutions in the target market or country to develop a tailored market entry strategy for the candidate company.

Do you meet @ Mayfield | 50?

Did you know there is a carpool/park and ride lot located at Mayfield Road and Highway 50? The Region of Peel has launched a new program this summer to inform more residents about the Mayfield|50 lot and help people determine how the lot can best suit their travel needs.

The lot has been open since 2010 and offers residents a convenient place to meet and carpool or to park and take GO Transit. Parking is free and available 24/7. You can use the lot as part of your daily commute or for your weekend travels – avoid the costs of driving and parking.

Find out more about the project and upcoming events at www.facebook.com/MeetatMayfield50. You can also visit the Region’s website and search the project hashtag #Mayfield50 on Twitter.

Calling all Supply Chain Management employers or employees

Your input is needed to better understand the local supply chain sector and what it means for the people of Peel and Halton!

The Peel-Halton Local Employment Planning Council (LEPC) has created and released a survey to gather data about the local supply chain management (SCM) sector and its workforce needs. In particular, this survey will examine the needs of wholesale trade and transportation and warehousing businesses. Prior research has shown that the supply chain field is a vital part of the provincial economy, and the survey represents an effort to update what is known about the field at the local level. A current and reliable picture of the local supply chain field is not possible without your participation; therefore, you are being invited to complete the LEPC’s first supply chain management survey. Higher quality results are achieved when more people take the time to complete the survey.

The purpose of the supply chain management survey is to collect useful data about the factors that influence hiring, retention, and skill requirements in the Peel-Halton supply chain field.

The results of the survey will be made available to all interested stakeholders in Peel and Halton. Additionally, the results will enable planning to enhance the local supply chain sector and strengthen the labour market.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the survey and sharing your knowledge. Your participation will certainly make a difference in Peel and Halton.

Event organizers are welcome to not only submit their events by email to Headwaters for inclusion in the planning calendar, but also to review the Canada 150 planning calendar before booking your event date.
