January Cleanse
|
|
Le Caprice’s
new detox menu is guaranteed to fend off the January blues with dishes that are bursting with nutritious ingredients and flavours. All the usual suspects are in there – quinoa, kale, linseed, labneh, pomegranate, wheatgrass, and the list goes on. The skill is in how Chef Will has put them together. A choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts (see menu here). And, if you arrive at Le Caprice
for lunch or early dinner and the willpower fails you, the A La Carte has some rather tempting dishes, which may lure you off the righteous path… Bannockburn rib eye with pommes allumettes and Béarnaise anyone?! The detox menu (£22 for 2 courses and £28 for 3 courses) is available from 12 noon until 6.30pm until Tuesday, 31 January. Call the Reservation Team on 020 7629 2239 or book online.

This House Play at Garrick Theatre |
|
“Ferociously witty” (Daily Telegraph), these words have been used to describe James Graham’s “This House”, which gives us a timely, moving and often amusing insight into the workings of British politics. Approximately two and a half minutes’ walk from J Sheekey Atlantic Bar
and terrace (complete with heaters and blankets), the play’s producers have teamed up with us to offer a £69.50 per person package, which includes a Band A ticket (usually £55), plus a piping hot and delicious Sheekey’s Fish Pie and glass of Gyéjacquot Champagne to wash it down for post theatre supper. Available for Monday to Thursday evening performances at 10.25pm (curtain down) until 23 February. Book online or call 0330 333 4811 quoting 'J Sheekey'.

Vegan-uary |
|
The Mount Street Deli has built something of a reputation for serving up rather delicious cakes and other delights. You would be forgiven for thinking that this is a haven for those with an eye for a pie. But, in January, Chef Kayleane has cracked the whip and come up with a full vegan menu
for those intent on sticking to their new year’s health kick resolution. There's a selection of vegan dishes on the menu as well as their usual meat, fish and salad dishes. The likes of vegetarian moussaka; Mexican bean mole; cauliflower, spinach and chickpea curry; vegetarian shepherd’s pie; and baked sweet potato with chickpea ratatouille sauce will take centre stage. Join us from 8am (Monday to Friday) and 9am (Saturdays). Read more.
