Less than a week to DSEI

Sarsen Technology will be joined at DSEI 2017 by VersaLogic and EIZO Rugged Solutions. If you're visiting the show please stop by and say hello. There will be plenty to see and lots of information to take away.

DSEI Showcase: VersaLogic

VersaLogic will be displaying a wide selection of their rugged, embedded computers, including the brand new Liger PC/104 board, based on the Intel Kaby Lake processor.

All the boards on display feature the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) - a hardware-based secret key generation and storage device providing a “secure vault” for any embedded system.

LIGER

Based on Intel's new Kaby Lake high-performance processor, Liger combines high-performance processing and high-performance video with moderate power consumption (12 to 14W typical).

Liger is designed for applications which require extreme CPU and video processing performance in a compact 108 x 96 mm (4.3 x 3.8") PC/104 footprint.

BLACKBIRD

Blackbird offers a very compact and rugged embedded solution, with multi-core processing and power efficient operation.

Supporting the Intel 6th Gen Core i7-6822 or i5-6442 Skylake CPU, Blackbird is based on the COM Express Basic form factor, and is available with up to 32 GB RAM, two GbE, two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, two 6GB SATA, and three Mini PCIe sockets.

VIPER

The Viper from VersaLogic is a rugged, high-performance embedded single board computer (SBC) based on the Atom 'Bay Trail' processor from Intel.

Designed around the EBX form factor and with industrial temperature operation (-40° to +85°C) and MIL-STD-202G qualification the Viper is ideal for challenging and high shock/vibration environments.

Meet EIZO Rugged Solutions at DSEI 2017

The EIZO Rugged Solutions team has put together an active demo based around the Condor GR3 3U VPX module. This rugged conduction cooled 3U VPX GPGPU solution is designed to be a highly efficient GPGPU solution taking up a single 3U VPX slot and capable of 1.271 TFLOPs of floating-point performance. CUDA sample apps are being run on the GPU on its 640 CUDA cores.

The Condor XMC/VPX video capture products will also be on display. This family of boards offers high resolution video capture, both in raw and H.264 formats. AMD and NVIDIA GPUs supporting OpenCL and CUDA are available for GPGPU applications.

HYDRA 1004

The Hydra 1004 is a 1x4 3G-SDI video splitter for rugged environments where temperature, shock and vibration are key design considerations.

The 3G-SDI, HD-SDI or SD-SDI video input is split into four outputs, allowing viewing or distribution. Signal regeneration (re-clocked) ensures that video quality is uncompromised. The front facing connectors allow ease of mounting.

CONDOR GR3 3U VPX

The Condor GR3 3U VPX is a rugged conduction cooled 3U VPX GPGPU single board computer with an XMC site, designed for SWaP (Size Weight Power) constrained applications.

The board hosts the leading edge NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 950M GPU based on the NVIDIA® Maxwell™ GPU architecture with 640 CUDA® cores and 1.271 TFLOPs of floating-point performance.

CONDOR VC100X

Condor VC100x is high definition video capture and H.264 compression card. The board supports up to 4 composite video inputs or 2 SD / HD-SDI video inputs.

The VC100x is optimised for a wide range of camera based video recording/analysis projects, and the low power consumption (7W typical) makes it an ideal solution for UAVs and surveillance applications.
