Launch of The Coromandel Cure

You will know that we have been working on our biggest ever summer campaign designed to build back confidence in The Coromandel as the place Where Kiwis Holiday.
Phase one of the campaign has almost wrapped up and we'll be ready to kick off phase two and reveal The Coromandel Cure end of November. A big thanks to those operators who participated in the first research phase and hosted the stressed visitors!
Phase two, the official public launch of the campaign will focus heavily on PR activity for nation-wide awareness. During this phase we will feature the products and packages on offer from participating businesses - and there's still time to add yours.
As always we will begin by
promoting the region. If you want your town, business or product included this is your chance, don’t miss out - keep reading!
As we stated at the outset, the key component of this campaign is inclusivity for all: operators, businesses, business associations and other community groups. You all have the opportunity to leverage this campaign to promote what you have to offer visitors.
Showcase your cures
Now is the time to align your Coromandel Cure with the campaign and make sure it gets good coverage during the launch phase. Your Coromandel Cure could be one of two deliverables:
- A special product (e.g limited edition product, dish on a menu,
experience)
- A combo, package, add-on, anything that's good for your soul.
Product: Let us know what your special product cure is, when it is available and how you are presenting it, and we will send you the official campaign brand and other creative assets for you to use in marketing your Coromandel
Cure.
Package: Upload details of your Coromandel Cure with campaign lockups to our website. https://thecoromandel.com/list-your-business-or-event/upload-your-deal/
www.thecoromandel.com will be the campaign home where people can find all The Coromandel Cures
so you need to be visible on this platform. All media and social activity and billboards etc. will direct people to The Coromandel Cures specially designed by you, and the promotional spend will ensure many eyes are looking for holiday inspiration.
There is lots to do to get ready for the launch, so please don't leave it too late.
This second phase will run until Christmas, and the campaign will resume in January after a brief pause with phase three running until the
end of March. So you can run your Coromandel Cures in phases too if you wish, as this campaign will have spend and impact right through until Easter.
