In this ADM Defence Week Premium we look at the new and exciting digital battlespace communications system on the verge of introduction to Army service under Project Currawong or Land 2072 Ph2B.

The NZDF is set to receive a much needed boost in funding and capital under the recent NZ Budget and Katherine Ziesing takes a look at the release of the second Defence Industry Insight to be released by defence recruitment consultant Kinexus.

You may have noticed our increased reporting of issues relating to the cyber domain – an increasingly important part of the defence industry landscape. This week we cover the success of a cyber startup and the recent Defence Industry Cyber Challenge in SA.

ADM is saddened to have learned of the passing of NZDIA stalwart and advocate for NZ defence industry Fraser Boyd. The ADM team extends our deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

Finally, be sure to get your tickets for the D+I Gala Awards night to be held in Canberra on the 13th June preceding the D+I conference,
