Supplementary Volunteer Grants Amount: $1000 – $5000
Closing Date: 20 September 2020
Funding Provider: The Australian Government
Purpose: To support the efforts of volunteers in building stronger, more resilient communities. The grants can be used to buy small equipment for volunteers or for the reimbursement of volunteer fuel, transport or training costs, amongst other things. For more information: Click here
Certificate of AppreciationClosing Date: Ongoing
Funding Provider: The Department of Veteran Affairs
Purpose: Issued as a national gesture of thanks for military service.
Are you a veteran or a veteran's family member? If so, you may be eligible for a Certificate of Appreciation which are issued as a national gesture of thanks to those who served overseas in Australia’s Defence Forces from the Second World War on, or on the home front during WWII. Local Sport Grant Program.Amount: $500 - $20,000
Closing Date: 7 October 2020
Funding Provider: NSW Government
Purpose: To increase regular and on-going participation opportunities in sport in NSW. $50,000 will be allocated to all 93 electorates throughout NSW. The maximum amounts available are: - Sport Development: $2,000

NSW Infrastructure grantsAmount: Up to $300,000

Purpose: To support the building, renovation and fit-out of infrastructure. Funding is available in four key categories: - Arts & Culture: $50,000 to $200,000 available per project

Lake Mac's Nationwide dWELL Design CompetitionAmount: $40,000

Purpose: To showcase next-generation urban housing in Australia. We’re asking architects, building designers and tertiary students to think outside the box and to design a new style of home with wellness, innovation, affordability and sustainability at its heart. Lake Art Prize 2020 - Entries Now OpenAmount: $25,000

Purpose: A new biennial National Acquisitive Prize for Contemporary Australian Art. Australian artists, aged 18 years and over, are invited to submit works which reflect on the theme 'Where there is Water'. Contending artworks will be across all media and can take any form, including sculpture, painting, drawing, photomedia, installation, sound, and a single piece or multi-piece artwork. Lake Macquarie City Council Community Environment GrantAmount: $5,000

Purpose: To improve the local environment and encourage environmentally sustainable practices. Grants will be considered for ideas that help promote environmentally sustainable behaviour in the community, reduce the community’s carbon footprint, improve biodiversity, reduce waste or encourage recycling and upcycling. The Live Music Fund Amount: $2.5 million funding available in each round.

Purpose: The Live Music Australia program is a competitive grants opportunity for small to medium sized venues that support quality original Australian live music. Applications to the program may include: - infrastructure upgrades, purchase of equipment, programming and promotional expenses and artist fees, or
- initiatives that deliver to multiple venues and build capacity, for example,
professional development programs, expanded regional touring circuits, and partnerships across venues or jurisdictions.

Purpose: To support community based organisations by providing funding for projects that fall within the nominated priority areas. The Foundation currently has two priority areas of focus: – Priority 1: Projects that support children with physical and/or mental disabilities or their carers.

Movember Social Connections ChallengeAmount: $140,000 to $250,000 per idea

Purpose: To address the mental health risks of vulnerable men by exploring innovative solutions that can potentially be scaled for long-term impact. - Stage 1: Ideation - A selection panel will shortlist the most promising ideas be shared for co-development. Each idea that is selected for co-development will receive an initial $10,000 to license their idea
- Stage 2: Co-Development - $140,000 to $250,000 per idea

ABC Heywire 2021 CompetitionAmount: $1,500 in flights & accommodation

Purpose: To share their experiences of life in regional Australia, for the opportunity to be featured on the ABC. Young Australians with a story to tell about life outside of the big cities are encouraged to enter, with entries of any medium accepted, including text, video, audio and photography. 40 winners from all over regional Australia will work with ABC producers to see their stories featured across ABC platforms including ABC TV, Radio National, Local Radio, triple j and iview. Fair Work Ombudsman's (FWO) Community Engagement Grants (CEG) ProgramAmount: Total pool $7,200,000

Purpose: To facilitate the provision of assistance relating to Commonwealth workplace laws to specific target groups who are covered by the federal workplace relations system. Purpose: The UK/Australia Season (the Season) is a joint initiative by the British Council and the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to strengthen and build cultural connections. They are inviting individuals and organisations in Australia to submit project proposals for inclusion in the Season which align with the Season theme, ‘Who are we now?’ with dates and locations.
