Review the Event Policies and Restricted Items

The Giant Jamboree is a celebration - every year, teams enjoy bringing fun giveaways to share with fellow teams! While pins are fine, some items like stickers, helium balloons, and drones are NOT ALLOWED. In addition, iGEM's rules of conduct and anti-harassment policy applies to all attendees. To help you plan, please review the event policies:

Daylight Savings Reminder

Daylight savings time will end in Boston at 2:00 AM on Sunday, November 3. We would like to remind attendees to set your analog clocks back by one hour on Sunday morning of the Jamboree (don't worry, this means you get one hour of extra sleep!).

PLAN YOUR DAYS

Giant Jamboree Program

This year we are not providing hard copies of the program booklet for the Giant Jamboree, and we're saving more than 2 tons of paper while we're at it! To get the program, you now have a few environmentally friendlier options:

  1. Reduce paper waste and download the PDF version to your laptop or mobile device. This option is great for making electronic notes!
  2. Get the mobile app - perfect for bookmarking sessions, building a personalized schedule, finding your way through the Hynes using the maps, and receiving live updates from HQ at the Jamboree
  3. Browse the program in your favorite internet browser right here on our website!
