Boys Hope Girls Hope Back to School Drive, a Success!

Your Alumni Association led a back-to-school supplies donation drive benefiting Boys Hope Girls Hope Arizona! Thanks to the incredible generosity of the NDP community, we collected more than $5,000 worth of supplies and $600 in cash donations—and had enough supplies to share with additional Catholic schools in the Valley serving lower income communities, including St. Agnes and St. Gregory!

1.  NDP students are back on campus! Using a hybrid learning model, students split their school week online and in person —we’re so happy to have our Saints Back Safely.
2.  Sports are also back! Our girls and boys golf teams and cross-country team have begun their season, as have our football, swim and volleyball teams.
3.  NDP’s house system is in its 3rd year! Students, faculty and staff make up 10 houses, which promote community, mentorship, discipleship, growth and leadership.
4.  There are 4 new clubs at NDP: Adoration Club, Environmental Club, Student-Led Exploration of The Sciences (SLES) and Students Supporting Brain Tumor Research (SSBTR).
5.  NDP introduced our Human Dignity Initiative. Learn more about how we’re bringing our community together to address the current social climate.
6.  NDP chaplain Fr. Kurt Perera released his second single, Sunrise! Check out his lyric video on YouTube!
7.  The 19th Annual NDP Golf Tournament at Troon North is set for Dec. 2!
8.   NDP’s Performing Arts Center is going up quickly! See our construction progress.
9.  NDP Alumni Association is on social media—Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn!
10.   As an Arizona resident, you can give to NDP at NO COST to you! Consider donating your AZ state tax credits to Catholic Education Arizona.

Coming Soon! NDP Alumni's Speaker Series: Forever Seeking...

As Saints, we are Forever Seeking. Stay tuned as we kick off a podcast-style speaker series featuring NDP community members’ who will share how their involvement with NDP has impacted their lives and their ongoing search for wisdom, truth, knowledge, justice and understanding.

Our first speaker will be NDP legend David Lamb, who arrived at NDP in 2005 and serves as our social studies department chair. He is a revered faculty member who has impacted many of our students’ lives.

As we prepare to launch our Forever Seeking podcast series, please complete our online form to let us know if you have any specific questions for David, and any NDP faculty, staff, coach or fellow alumni you would like to see lead a future podcast. And look out for more information to come!
