SEC Announcement on Expert Market Proposal
 

On August 2nd, the SEC Trading & Markets staff issued a notice stating that the SEC will not approve the proposed changes to the Expert Market.

This means securities of issuers that do not comply with the new Rule 15c2-11 disclosure requirements will not have proprietary market maker quotes in the Expert Market. Pink No Information stocks that shift to the Expert Market on September 28, will only be available for unsolicited quotes from brokers representing Limit Orders of investors not affiliated with the issuer.
 
 
Reminder to Verify Your Company Profile in OTCIQ for Compliance with SEC Rule 15c2-11
 

Alternative Reporting Standard and Bank Reporting Standard companies must submit a Verified Company Profile through OTCIQ.com in order to maintain compliance with OTCQX Rules, OTCQB Standards and the information requirements of SEC Rule 15c2-11 for OTCQX, OTCQB and Pink companies. The profile contains new fields that are required for companies to comply with disclosure requirements set out by amendments to SEC Rule 15c2-11. Companies must provide this information by August 9th in order to ensure that our compliance team can confirm the availability of current public information and update your information prior to the rule’s September effective date.
 
 
Accessing U.S. Capital Markets Without SEC Registration
 

Foreign issuers, such as those listed on the Nasdaq Nordics and Oslo Bors, are often reluctant to enter the U.S. capital markets to reach U.S. investors because of the cost and complexity of registering with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Mirriad Advertising PLC (LON:MIRI) (OTCQX:MMDDF) (FRA:8WQ) CEO Stephan Beringer tells Proactive the in-content advertising company is expanding its footprint into the U.S. after it recently upgraded to trading the OTCQX platform in New York. Beringer says the group has 'tripled down' in the U.S. in terms of partnerships on the content side, engagements with media agencies, advertisement agencies, and their clients 'including the who's who of blue chip companies.' Watch Now.
 
 
ABAXX Technologies
 

Joshua Crumb, CEO of Abaxx Technologies Inc. (NEO:ABXX; OTCQX: ABXXF), says the Toronto, Canada-based financial services software company will look to debut its Singapore-based commodities exchange in the fall of 2021. Crumb says the group saw a gap to fill, as there are 'only two major players' on the global energy scene. Crumb says the exchange, who has been working with the Monetary Authority of Singapore as its primary regulator, will focus on facilitating liquified natural gas (LNG) sales, known as a 'cleaner hydrocarbon.' Watch Now.

Silver Tiger Metals Inc (TSXV:SLVR) (OTCQX:SLVTF) CEO Glenn Jessome tells Proactive the Halifax, Nova Scotia-based group is 'pretty comfortable' it will be able to develop its El Tigre silver and gold project in Mexico into a mine, as it has been steadily releasing drill results from the project. Jessome says the group is well funded to continue drilling with $25 million in the bank and its moving 'very, very rapidly' to update its resource estimate and complete a PEA 'in the next year.' Greenrose Acquisition Corp (OTCQX:GNRS) President Paul "Otto" Wimer outlines to Proactive the Special Acquisition Purpose Company's (SPAC) plans to acquire four separate cannabis companies within the U.S. Wimer says its strategy includes acquiring groups with strong management teams and those that are focused on being 'cultivation forward.'
