Bruce Morrow & Tenzin Gund-Morrow in Conversation

Girls Write Now board member Bruce Morrow was a molecular biologist before earning an MFA and becoming an editor, writer, and literary "super-connector." Guided by his endless curiosity, Bruce passed that spirit on to his son, Tenzin Gund-Morrow. A recent graduate of Harvard University, Tenzin advocates for writing and builds community, following in the footsteps of his grandmother, the late Agnes Gund, a longtime supporter of Girls Write Now. With Father's Day behind us and Tenzin's bright future ahead, he and his dad reflect on shared memories, the teacher who unlocked a love of words, and how writing has helped each of them make sense of the world.

Alongside poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, the editors are eager to read comics, hybrids, graphic essays, and other forms that test the boundaries of belonging.
