JAMBOREE EVENT INFO Announcements Review the Event Policies and Restricted Items The Giant Jamboree is a celebration - every year, teams enjoy bringing fun giveaways to share with fellow teams! While pins are fine, some items like stickers and helium balloons are NOT ALLOWED. Restricted items will be confiscated and breaches of policies may be referred to iGEM's Responsible Conduct Committee. There are still limited spaces available at the Midtown Hotel. Do you want to engage with policy makers? Join After iGEM and the MIT Center for International Studies the day after the Jamboree (November 5th, 2019) at MIT to investigate real problems in collaboration with policy makers and other students. Hear from policy makers about their journey and what are the next big challenges that require your help! Sign up by Wednesday, October 16. Click below for more information: Direct Link: https://2019.igem.org/Giant_Jamboree/Related_Events INFORMATION FOR TEAMS Instructions for Jamboree Check-In This year, attendee check-in at the Jamboree will be done by team, rather than on an individual basis. Each team should designate one team member as the Registration Representative. This individual will be responsible for picking up the Registration Representative Packet which includes the team's attendee badges, certificates of participation, the ballot for the iGEMer’s prize, and two bracelets for the team members who will serve as Award Representatives during the Monday events. Each team is responsible for selecting their own Registration Representative, and they will need to sign in when picking up the Registration Representative Packet. Note that the Registration Representative does not need to be your team’s student leader or team PI. Wondering when your team is presenting? Team information is now ready online, including abstracts, presentation times, and poster zone assignments.
