We want to ensure that you get to enjoy every social dance. Our social dances are usually well attended (especially Saturdays), we have a beautiful space, fantastic deejays, incredible instructors, and dependable organizers. That all said, sometimes less people show up to the party, and that can be a bummer if you are looking to DANCE. We've decided to create a new deal to help ensure your money and time is always well spent:

If less than 20 people show up to a dance, you get a free pass to any Thursday, Friday, or Saturday social dance

*20 people including staff
*Tally and free passes handed out at 9:20pm Thursdays, 10:30pm Friday, 10:30pm Saturdays
*Applies to anyone who paid, used a pass or gift card for entry

Sugar Foot Stomp: Big Band Dance!

Under direction of JF Picard, the Gateway Big Band has impressed dancers at Sugar Swing with their fantastic renditions of charts from the orchestras of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, and Jimmie Lunceford. We are bringing them back for two full sets this evening. They swing hard, and their big sound just makes you wanna dance!

Rhythm is our Business

A monthly series of Tap, Jazz, and Lindy Hop Jam Nights right here at Sugar Swing! Join us Saturday, May 9 in conjunction with our weekly dance. This month: Jamie Ausmus and Turlough Myers are your hosts.

The Friday Night Stomp!

A weekly dance where we keep the swing dancing but mix things up with a fun, new theme every week. It might be live music, funk n' soul, rockabilly, student night, or a host of other themes. It's something different every week, but always kicked off with a beginner drop-in lesson. This is an all-ages, dry event intended for people with no dance experience!

NEW: First Fridays

This month we are introducing "First Fridays", where on the First Friday dance of each month we do something a little extra special. Prizes, contests, games, and specials! Stay tuned for the next one, June 5th.
