ABDO to provide CET at Optrafair
|
|
|
As an official event partner, ABDO is pleased to announce that it will be conducting CET lectures and workshops at Optrafair.

ABDO CET LECTURES
On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April ABDO will be hosting a lecture programme featuring internationally acclaimed speakers, including special guest Bernard Maitenaz, the inventor of Varilux lenses. The lectures will be held in the specially designed ‘ABDO Theatre’ (T60), situated within the Optrafair exhibition hall. The programme will provide opticians with the opportunity to hear from some of the leading figures in the fields of R&D, vision science and manufacturing optics. Each lecture is approved for 1 interactive CET point and they are free to attend.
ABDO CET WORKSHOPS
In addition, ABDO will be conducting paediatric dispensing workshops on Monday 20 April at 9.30am, 11.00am, 12.30pm and 2.00pm. The workshop is approved for 3 interactive CET points and will be conducted by ABDO’s Joanne Abbott, Barry Duncan and Paula Stevens. Admission is strictly limited with no advanced booking, places will be available on the day on a first-come, first served basis. So remember to arrive promptly to ensure you secure a place!
All ABDO CET at Optrafair is approved for both dispensing opticians and optometrists. Practitioners attending each of the ABDO CET events on offer can acquire a total of 8 interactive CET points.
