Co-creation project - Civics and Citizenship

The State Library's education team is currently partnering with Connolly Primary School teachers and students in the co-creation of a pilot enquiry project.

Using the  Year 5 Civics and Citizenship curriculum, and specifically selected primary and secondary materials from the State Library's collections, students are engaging more deeply with the HASS curriculum to extend their learning and develop their information literacy, critical thinking and collaborative skills.

The pilot will result in a project tailored to the needs of the school, and a new program that will be offered to one school in Perth each year as part of the State Library's education program.
