The PM's Industry 4.0 Taskforce has signed a cooperative agreement with its German counterpart to advance the manufacturing sectors of both Australia and Germany and SME support to benefit from the opportunities of the standard is a strong focus.
In other news the UK will integrate the Meteor BVRAAM onto its F-35s, the first Grand Challenge to develop technology to counter improvised threats is launched, and Leidos is recognised for its work on a US unmanned ASW program.
Finally as we went to press, Defence Industry Minister Christopher Pyne announced an additional Naval Shipbuilding Industry briefing will be held in Launceston on 3 May 2017,
