My Choice Matters - focus groups
My Choice Matters is developing a resource to support people with disability access mainstream health services. We have been asked to nominate interested GPs who would be willing to participate in a number of focus groups in the coming months to support the creation of appropriate education material. Commitment to the focus group is one and a half days over four months. Remuneration will be $180 an hour for each GP. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in being involved please contact CESPHN Team Leader Member Support and Engagement, Jenny Denford at j.denford@cesphn.com.au

Last chance to have your say about accessing preoperative iron infusions
Organising preoperative iron infusions is not only a difficult task for general practitioners but more importantly leaves patients at risk of having their surgery cancelled. To reduce the risk for patients, GPs and the hospitals, Sydney Local Heath District is undertaking changes to how our local hospital services can provide preoperative iron infusions. To ensure that the needs of general practices are met you are invited to complete a short survey to determine the best way to investigate and manage preoperative anaemia and iron deficiency.

Nasogastric tube feeding: Have your say
Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District and Central and Eastern Sydney PHN are currently looking at how we work together to care for children with complex and chronic conditions. The project is initially focusing on implementing a model of care to support children needing replacement of nutrition support devices. To do this, we’re asking GPs to complete the eleven question multiple choice survey below, which will help us collect information about their experience of working with children with nasogastric feeding tubes, and to explore the challenges that exist in managing nasogastric feeding in the community. We hope that this will benefit you and your
patient base in the near future. Complete the survey at https://www.research.net/r/NGTFeedingSurvey
