Newcastle dispensing optician wins national award
|

Lesley Oglethorpe has been announced the winner of a prestigious national award in recognition of her services to optics.
|
|
Run by the Association of Optometrists (AOP) and sponsored by CooperVision, the awards recognise the highest levels of achievement in UK optics.
Ms Oglethorpe was named the winner in the ‘Dispensing Optician of the Year’ category during an awards ceremony in Birmingham. Sponsored by the Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO), this award recognises a dispensing optician who is dedicated to keeping informed of new innovations in frames and lenses and a leader within the practice, supporting colleagues and promoting eye health.
