Donna Wood named to ASTHVI steering committee

Last month, Donna Wood, PEI Division Administrator for Early Childhood Programs, was elected to serve on the steering committee of the Association of State and Tribal Home Visiting Initiatives (ASTHVI).
ASTHVI is a non-profit, non-partisan collaboration of state administrators of home visiting programs. Its mission is to share information about the impact of home visiting programs in states and local communities with policymakers, the press and the public. It also facilitates a national exchange of innovative practices. The steering committee meets monthly to plan activities and agendas for the association and its committees. It also responds to policy developments and delegates responses to policy committees and working groups.
ASTHVI members unanimously elected her to the committee at the group's annual meeting Nov. 17. Wood will serve a three-year term starting in January.
