No images? Click here As you know, the University has nine colleges and you are a member of Langwith. You may be living in Langwith or you may be living off-campus and you chose or were assigned Langwith because it is close to your academic department. Whatever the reason, we are happy to have you and the Langwith team are ready to provide advice and support. The University does have a college dedicated to the graduate student experience and as a postgraduate, you also have access to all Wentworth Graduate College events and activities. Postgraduate (PG) Welcome WeekPG Welcome Week begins on 21 September, a week before undergraduates arrive on campus. It is an important part of the year and we encourage you to take part. Wentworth and the Graduate Students' Association (GSA) work hard to deliver a welcome that is relevant for graduates. The schedule is carefully designed to help you transition to postgraduate life and study here at York. Tours and workshops will help you make the most of your time and your degree, while the networking and social events are opportunities for you to relax, make friends and meet other postgraduate students. Wentworth events and activitiesLast year Wentworth hosted over 200 events including workshops, guest lectures, networking events and careers activities, alongside weekly sporting events, environmental awareness and activism programmes, Chinese calligraphy classes, language mentoring, movies, game nights and more. Many activities will be delivered online during the first part of the year due to Covid-19. Don't forgetYou are welcome to join in Langwith College events and activities as well. Langwith should also be your first point of contact for support and advice. Missed one of our earlier messages? Use the buttons below to view them.
