Increasing participation in cervical screening for Nepalese and Bangladeshi women in south eastern Sydney The purpose of this project is to explore effective ways to engage and promote women’s health screening for Bangladeshi and Nepalese women to improve rates of participation in cervical screening. We are working with SESLHD and the Cancer Institute to inform future health promotion and cancer prevention initiatives across NSW. Dr Wilson says general practitioners need to better educate themselves and their patients around the risks and harms associated with ongoing pharmaceutical use. Dr Suzanne Nielsen, Senior Research Fellow at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre and Dr Craig Rodgers, Staff Specialist, Addiction Medicine at St Vincent’s Hospital will be presenting the next Drug and Alcohol education event on Pharmaceutical Drug Misuse on Thursday 4 May 2017. SEALS now sharing pathology results on My Health Record This latest advancement means public pathology tests results ordered within either SESLHD, ISLHD or SCHN Randwick and resulted by SEALS are now able to be shared with My Health Record (provided a patient has one). The patient and their other health care providers will be able to access their SEALS pathology test results electronically, minus a number of sensitive results which will not be shared.
