This month ... This month.... Julia and Tracy are really excited to have been selected as volunteer Mentors working with young women for The Girls Network helping them to reach their goals and aspirations. It won’t be long now until mentees are met and the journey begins! It’s very exciting to be giving back after all the help we’ve received over the years, there’s no better reward than helping others to achieve the success they deserve. 13th February saw our very first Mastermind group meeting. With the wonderful group of business people we’d invited, we’re really pleased to say everyone took a lot from the meeting and we’re all looking forward to the next one in April. Sharing knowledge and pooling skills and expertise has got to be the best way for everyone to meet their goals and overcome their challenges. Our March netwalking event is now almost fully booked! From our first walk with four of us putting the world to rights almost two years ago, we are now seeing well over 20 businesses attending each time, and giving us amazing feedback! We’re so grateful to everyone who joins us and to those who support by helping us promote it. It’s definitely a team effort and just shows that success comes with consistency. Lastly, let’s give you the heads up on two workshops we’re excited to be running later this year. The first is in support of the Black Country Business Festival, on 2nd May in West Bromwich, and the second is part of the Women In Business Conference, held on 18th May and organised by Socially Shared, please do come along and see us. Share the love... Our podcaster for February is the lovely Gemma Beardmore from Equilibrium Security talking about her journey and how they’re helping businesses stay safe and secure. Did you know? Cre8 will be entering a team in this year’s Black Country Road run on 1st July. We’ve not decided on our chosen charity yet, but will keep you posted, or you could always run with us!
Sales Tip We know a lot of business owners who’ve tried telemarketing and appointment making and found it very difficult to get a worthwhile return on investment. Typically these kind of businesses are operating in competitive markets where they’re either competing against an existing relationship, or the prospects receive A LOT of cold calls from their industry so they’re hard to win over. A successful lead generation strategy is still essential to growing a business, so what do you do if some of the more traditional methods don’t work?
Thank you Thanks again this month to Michelle Ibbs for yet more referrals! We’re thinking of renaming you Wonder Woman :) Thanks so much!
Thanks for reading. The Cre8 Team x
