Solution-Focused training in Parramatta in November
There are places available in the two-day "Introductory" Solution-Focused Brief Therapy course — Solution-Focused Brief Therapy: A Comprehensive Introduction, with Michael Durrant, in Parramatta on Thursday & Friday, 3 & 4 November 2016. PLEASE NOTE CHANGED DATES.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is an evidence-based approach that has been shown to be effective in mental health, trauma, schools and child & adolescent contexts ... and has also been used usefully in leadership and coaching contexts.
Michael is Australia's leading trainer/presenter in Solution-Focused work. As well as having had a personal/professional relationship with the founders of the Solution-Focused approach, he has been asked to give keynote addresses at the European Brief Therapy Conference, the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Conference and a Singapore Solution-Focused Practice Conference — as well as at school principal and deputy principal conferences in Australia and New Zealand.

Solution-Focused news from Adelaide
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is alive and well in Adelaide.
Following Michael's visits early in the year — the course Solution-Focused Brief Therapy: A Comprehensive Introduction attracted an enthusiastic group of participants, the inaugural meeting of the South Australian Solution-Focused Community of Practice network was held, Michael conducted Solution-Focused training for SA Education and also addressed Psychiatry Grand Rounds at Flinders Medical Centre — Solution-Focused interest continues to grow.
The South Australian Solution-Focused Community of Practice network meets four times each year for Solution-Focused discussion, peer support and encouragement, drinks and nibbles. The group has become an Affiliated Local Group of the Australasian Association for Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

The Third Australian and New Zealand Solution-Focused Conference will be held in Adelaide in July 2017. Program details will be announced soon — exciting keynote speakers will stretch your Solution-Focused thinking, and there will be two half-day focuses on SF ideas in two particular contexts, schools and mental health. Finally, Michael will conduct Solution-Focused Brief Therapy training in Adelaide again in November. Details below.
Solution-Focused training in Melbourne and Adelaide in November
The two-day "Introductory" Solution-Focused Brief Therapy course — Solution-Focused Brief Therapy: A Comprehensive Introduction, with Michael Durrant, will be offered again in both Melbourne and Adelaide in November. Courses in both cities earlier in the year were fully booked and the training is being conducted again in response to people's requests.

There will be a one-day Solution-Focused Conference in Christchurch, New Zealand, on 15 March 2017, with keynote speaker Elliott Connie from the USA. Details HERE.
The Third Australia and New Zealand Solution-Focused Conference will be held in Adelaide in July 2017.

The Solution Focused World Conference will be held in Germany in September 2017. The Australasian Association for Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is one of the Conference Supporting Organisations and Michael is proud to be a member of the Conference committee.

The two-day, comprehensive Solution-Focused Brief Therapy course will be conducted in Townsville in November.
