GUY and Ottawa County celebrated the completion of Bridge #80 over Modoc Creek with a ribbon cutting on October 28. Built in 1930, the old Bridge #80 was structurally deficient and functionally obsolete. It had been closed since 2011 due to structural failure.

The new bridge is a triple cell RCB that was designed by Guy Engineering Services of Tulsa and constructed by RRY Services of Stillwater. Funding for the $625,225 bridge was provided through the County Improvements for Roads and Bridges (state funding).
