MRBTA Welcomes New Direct Flight Route Connecting Busselton and Melbourne
The Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association (MRBTA) welcomes the news that Melbourne and Busselton will be connected via a direct flight route, with Jetstar today announcing that it will commence a Melbourne-Busselton service from 25 March 2020.
Jetstar will operate the service three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, landing at Busselton Margaret River Airport at 9.05am and departing at 9.40am.
The new service offers easier access to the Margaret River region for interstate travellers, whose visitor spend in WA last year grew by 22% to $1.73 billion. It also opens up new opportunities to connect international visitors from Melbourne to the region through open-jaw itineraries.

Walk Talk Taste launch new Saturday night food tour in Margaret River township
The Evening Tour is a brand new Saturday night, in-town walking experience from Walk Talk Taste, the region's only walking food tour provider dedicated to exploring downtown Margaret River. The tour shares a similar focus to the original Brunch Tour: it's all about discovering premium local produce via food and beverages - this time, it's mostly cocktails and delicious bites substantial enough to replace dinner. Tours kick off in late October, but bookings can (and should) be made now for the limited summer season.
Howard Park's 2019 Art Installation Unveiled
In collaboration with the West Australian Ballet, Howard Park Wines have unveiled their 2019 art installation: a floor- to-ceiling floral sculpture spanning 7-metres crafted by botanic stylist and floral designer Cherise Woodhams of De La Terre.

Starting at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse in Augusta and finishing four days later at the famous Colonial Brewery, the Cape to Cape MTB is an iconic Margaret River mountain biking event.
WA Gourmet Escape
8 - 17 November
The world's best chefs will flock back to the Margaret River region for the annual Gourmet Escape, with this year's event expanded to also include the Swan Valley and Perth. Tickets and packages available now.
