This summer, we're kicking off each Monday Memo with a selection from  Girls Write Now Stories chosen by our Summer Interns!

This poem tackles the internal struggle of acceptance of our bodies due to outside forces and modernized stigmas society inflicts. I chose this piece because it was a relatable, beautifully crafted, and inspiring self-reflection.
