First Look: BittWare To Launch New Networking Product at RSA 2017 

StreamSleuth from BittWare is a brand new 100GbE packet processing appliance with a pre-programmed FPGA that performs hardware accelerated network packet processing at line rate. Use modes include packet broker, active monitor, or supplemental firewall.

Users configure the device with a web-based GUI or API - no FPGA programming required!

StreamSleuth is the first product from the new BittWare Network Products group, focused on high-performance networking products.

ARINC 429: Ethernet Device for Advanced ARINC Signal Testing

Alta Data Technologies has announced the release of an innovative network appliance that provides advanced ARINC-429 signal parametrics testing: eNet-A429P.

The eNet-A429P is a small, low power device combining variable voltage control with digital signal generator on transmission channels with A/D signal capture on receive channels for advanced ARINC-420 parametrics signal testing.

This low cost Ethernet appliance can be easily integrated into almost any platform.

Dev Kit: Xilinx Zynq SoC Development Kit Update

DAVE Embedded Systems is pleased to announce the release of the latest Kit for their Xilinx Zynq based family of SOMs BORA and BORA Xpress.

The BORA is a high performance Dual Cortex-A9 + FPGA CPU module offering high performance on an extremely compact form factor (85 x 50mm).

Rugged Graphics: XMC Card with 3U VPX Carrier Card Option

The Condor 4107xX is a rugged, conduction cooled XMC Graphics card from EIZO Rugged Solutions. It is based on the AMD Embedded Radeon™ E8860 GPU and offers two 3G-SDI video outputs and 3G-SDI video capture.

The board can now be used in a 3U VPX slot when mounted on a new carrier card.

Embedded World 2017

Christos Flouris will be at the show on 15th March, and will be supporting VersaLogic and DAVE Embedded Systems who are both exhibiting at the event.

DSEI 2017

Our fastest growing market sector this year will be niche FPGA computing systems for government and defence security applications. With this in mind we will be exhibiting at DSEI in September.

The products we supply can be used in a wide range of security sectors, from UAVs and electronic countermeasures to surveillance cameras, secure storage and deep packet inspection.

We will be showcasing a full range of hardware and software at the event.

Meet Kevin: If you missed it last month we introduced you to our newest member of staff. Kevin has joined Sarsen as Sales Engineer, and is responsible for providing engineering and technical support to key accounts in the mil-aero, high performance computing and network security sectors across the whole of the UK.
