CESPHN has moved to Mascot!

Central and Eastern Sydney PHN has relocated to our new office at Level 5, 201 Coward Street, Mascot. This move will save us money on rent and infrastructure and will allow our staff to more effectively provide support to you from a central location within our region. Whilst we are still in process of setting up our new office, please direct all calls to our 1300 986 991 number. If you have any enquiries regarding the move, please do not hesitate to contact us at communications@cesphn.com.au.

Psychiatry support line for GPs is now open!

Best Practice Update - Indigo Revision 1 released

Best Practice (BP) clinical software released Indigo Revision 1 on 17 August 2018 which now incorporates changes to the NIP schedule that came into effect on 1 July 2018. Practices who use BP are encouraged to update their software to this latest version to ensure the accurate recording of immunisation encounters and the transmission of this information to the Australian Immunisation Register.

Immunisation Schedule frequently asked question

How do you enter dose four of Prevenar 13 vaccine onto AIR at the 12 month schedule point?
Four doses of Prevenar 13 vaccine is still recommended for some children who have previously received Prevenar 13 vaccine at two, four and six months of age and those at risk. Currently, when recording the encounter via the AIR secure site, the only way to ensure the correct dose sequence for the fourth dose of Prevenar 13 at 12 months for these children is to use the “other" age group tab. The remaining 12 month schedule vaccines can be submitted through the 12 month drop down box on AIR. If providers inadvertently select Prevenar 13 using the 12 month drop down box on AIR and it is the fourth dose, it defaults to dose three which then causes it to appear on the AIR immunisation history with an error code. This can be corrected through the 'edit' function. If you do not already have secure online access to AIR you can request access here.
